This has to be my favorite picture of the whole day. This is my grandpa with his wife Henny at Kadi's blessing brunch. We are just so exciting!

We blessed Kadi yesterday. It was such a good day. Thank you to all who came and shared this day with us.

This is my best friend's daughter Makaybree. We borrowed her dress for Kadi's blessing, which Makaybree was very proud of.

We went down to my grandpa's cabin over Memorial Day weekend. We always have so much fun. Thanks Grandpa!

We always have to roast marshmellows when we go down there, but it was nice to warm up around the campfire. It was a little chilly over the weekend.

The kids loved this turkey. I guess it is a show turkey.

Conner wanted a mammoth cake this year. I printed off a picture of one that I found on the internet. My mom decorated it, that is why it looks so good. If any of you remember the long-neck dinosaur cake I tried to make a couple of years ago. This beats it by far.

Good thing my mom was here to help this time. It turned out great.

Conner's birthday wishlist this year was anything remote control. My parents gave him this remote control 4-wheeler. He loves it.

I took the boys to the dinosaur park here in Ogden. They loved it. They have all of these dinosaurs all over outside that make noises. The noises scared the boys as we walked through this trail the park named "the lost trail". They also have a museum inside a building with a lot of fossils.

My most dangerous creatures.

You can't see if very well, but this is a Triceratops and a T-rex behind an "electric" fence. They actually move a little bit and make noises. The boys sat here for a good 20 minutes just watching them. I had to drag them out or we would probably still be there.

Here is Brayden's birthday cake. There is a good story behind the birthday cake. Brayden picked a Superman cake this year for his birthday. If any of you saw the pictures from his birthday last year that is the cake he picked last year as well. Since I already had the Superman cake pan I was just going to do the same thing I did last year. I made the cake in the morning giving myself plenty of time to decorate it. After I had let the cake cool for a few minutes I turned it upside down on the flat pan and half of it came out and the other half stayed in the pan. I oiled the pan so I am not sure what happened. It was yummy to eat warm though so the kids and I had a treat. I still didn't have a cake though for his birthday party that night. I called the grocery store to see if they had one or could make me a superman cake for that night. They told me that they usually need a full days' notice, but that they could probably do it. Lance left Conner's T-Ball game early to pick up the cake. I get a call from the grocery store asking me what kind of cake I ordered. I told them a Superman cake. The girl paused and said, "well we made a Spiderman cake". What was I going to do? Needless to say, as you can see, Brayden didn't get his Superman cake. Good thing he wasn't upset. He actually like it. Yea!

Blowing out the candles.

Brayden's dragon. The boys love these little toys that when you push a button they make noise and move. They are great!

Conner is playing T-Ball. He really likes playing and actually does very well. He is one of the players that hits and throws the ball the furthest. It is so fun to watch him. It was cold at this game. We keep going back and forth between hot and cold weather for his games. I guess the weather can't make up it's mind.

It is so fun to watch this age play sports, especially as slow as T-Ball goes. The little kids start doing their own thing, besides playing the game. Conner once was supposed to be playing catcher and was sitting behind home picking grass and putting it into a pile. I got that on video.

We made a warm little cave for Kadi in her car seat, but she didn't like being in there for too long.

Is it supposed to be blanket and coat weather at the end of May?

I looked over at the boys and saw them laying on the ground with their tongues out. When I asked them what they were doing they said they were dead. I am not sure how sticking-the-tongue-out came to mean dead, but I used to do it to.

Brayden was also dead.
