Me and Porter when we were up late one night. Sometimes Porter just doesn't want to go to sleep, so we hang out.

I tried my hand at cake decorating. Brayden wanted a Superman cake, so I bought a cake pan in the shape of Superman and followed the directions on what to do. Later you'll see Conner's birthday cake. He wanted The Incredible Hulk so I used the same mold. It was so much fun. Maybe one day I won't have to use a mold.

Brayden with his birthday cake. He turned 3 this year. We actually had to leave for our cruise on his birthday, so we had a big birthday party for him the night before we left.

Lance and I went on a cruise with our friends Jared and Lisa a few weeks ago. It was so much fun. This is our ship the Carnival Victory.

The view from our ship in Miami. I am a big CSI fan and this looks just like the clips they show throughout CSI Miami.

Here is the bed in our room. I show this because on the cruises website it shows the rooms with 2 twin beds that you can put together. The bed was actually bigger than I thought it was going to be, and very comfy. I slept good. It also may have been that I didn't have my "mother" ears on (always listening to make sure my kids are ok).

They have what they call formal nights on the ship, where you get to get all dressed up and eat dinner with your captain. We didn't get to see him, but we had fun getting dressed up, at least the girls did. This happened to be the last night we ate in the dining room. Our dining room was in the back of the boat and as we got a couple of days into the cruise the water started getting rougher and Lance and I both got sea sick. Being in the dining room rocking back and forth for 1 1/2 hours didn't help. We tried pills, ointment and finally wrist bands to help. We found out that fresh air works the best and so we ended up eating upstairs the rest of the time.

Here is our ship, docked in Puerto Rico. I kept calling it a boat and was corrected over and over.

We docked in old San Juan, Puerto Rico. The streets were all very narrow like this. Quite of few of the streets were made out of brick (the word cobblestone streets comes to mind, but I don't know if that is the right word.)

This wall behind us is a wall that they built to help keep intruders out. When we got up close to it we realized how big the wall really was.

This was at the beach in Puerto Rico. Lance went looking for some coral (sp?) and sea shells when we got to the beach and found a coconut. He and our friend Jared took turns trying to break it open. They finally did and we were able to enjoy fresh coconut. Later the boys both climbed a coconut tree and were able to pick their own coconuts. My camera died before this so I wasn't able to get pictures of it, but it was quite funny to see the boys try and climb a coconut tree.

I know this may be a funny picture, but there is a story behind it. When Lance and I decided we were going to go on a cruise I told him I didn't care where we went as long as it had the torquoise water. I had only seen it this color in pictures, and I almost didn't believe it. As we were pulling into St. Martin/St. Maartan it took my breath away. As we got off the ship and were headed to enjoy the island I just took this picture off the pier to have proof that the torquoise water really does exist. It was beautiful.

Here is Lance in the beautiful water. Looks like a pool, huh? This beach, although I wasn't able to get a picture, is the famous beach where the airplanes come right over your head to land at the airport that is just across the street. At first we were awed by the small planes and private jets coming in, then a full size American Airlines airplane came in. It was amazing at how close it actually was. There were signs posted all over the beach warning about the airplanes, but as this American Airlines plane took off, people were standing right up to the fence with their cameras and camcorders and when it took off one guy was literally blown off his feet. It was quite the sight.

We had so much fun riding the 4-wheelers. It made it easy to go where ever we wanted, get off, go swimming, get back on, go to another beach. The view was beautiful from every viewpoint on the 4-wheelers.

This was as we were coming back to the ship from St. Martin/St. Martaan. After a day of swimming and riding 4-wheelers all over the island we don't look too bad, huh?

Lance and I and our friends were on the very bottom floor of the cruise ship at the very back. Our hallway went all the way from one end of the ship to the other. I wanted to capture how long the hall really was, but this picture doesn't do it justice.

Here are Lance and I as we are pulling out of St. Thomas/U.S. Virgin Islands.

This waterslide is on the cruise. I went down it a few times. It was fun. The thing I didn't realize is that all of the pools and the water for this slide are salt water. We think they just sucked in water from the ocean to fill the pools.

On the last night of the cruise the big show was put on by the guests. Throughout the week they auditioned for parts and then on the last night they got to perform for all of us. My friend, Lisa, was able to be Madonna and sang "Like A Virgin" live on stage. She had all of the male dancers from the dance team as her back up dancers. It was really cool.

Conner wanted an Incredible Hulk cake for his birthday. It may look familiar. I used the same mold that I used for Brayden's Superman cake. I realized that the black didn't show up very well next to the dark green so you can't see all of the muscle lines I put in. Conner told me it looked just fine. He's all that mattered anyway.

Conner wanted to make his face green like The Hulk so he put frosting on his face.
