We signed Conner up to play Jr. Jazz basketball this year. This was at his first game. The picture didn't come in quite clear, but it is the only picture I was able to get of his first game because right after this picture my camera died. I have to keep it.

It's kind of a dark picture, but I got one of him calling for the ball. For not knowing anything about the game before this he is doing great.

Conner decided one day that he was going to do a lot of chores to earn some money. He said he wanted to do the dishes. I was a little afraid of letting him do it all by himself, but I figured he has to learn sometime so he started. Brayden got up there and helped him and they did wash every single dish. They actually did a very good job.

I came downstairs and found this. I asked Conner if Porter fell asleep in his lap and he said, "No! He fell asleep on the couch and I picked him up and put him on my lap." He is a great big brother.

Conner's new school had "crazy hair day" one day so Lance spiked Conner's hair up for him.

For Christmas Santa brought Conner and Brayden a little 4-wheeler. Our new house is in a cul-de-sac so the boys go out and enjoy riding their 4-wheelers quite often. Conner and Brayden are actually quite good at driving. The good thing about his little 4-wheeler is that it came with a remote so Lance can kill the engine if they get out of control.

Here is Conner taking Porter for a ride. I love our cul-de-sac. I have a cute story about our cul-de-sac. The other day we were sitting at dinner and Conner asked me "When it gets warm will we be in a warm-e-sac? I didn't know for sure what he was saying and had to make sure I heard what I heard. When he realized I was confused, Conner explained himself. "Right now we live in a 'cold-e-sac' so when it gets warm will we live in a 'warm-e-sac'?" Too cute!

We have been gettin a lot of snow. I had to take a picture of my front window view. Not being a snow person I am just so "excited" (being sarcastic here) every time I look outside and see the snow coming down. Like now for instance. I was reminded in church on Sunday to be thankful for the snow. A woman was speaking of the drought we had last year and how thankful she was for all of the moisture we have been getting. I guess I need to change my tune, huh? Can I be greatful for the moisture and still hate the snow?

Before Christmas Lance and I took the boys and met up with a lot of his family to see the lights on Temple Square. This tree has the most lights on it of any tree. We were told the number but I can't remember now.

Here is a picture of Lance's uncle Ronald with some sister missionaries singing on Temple Square. Uncle Ronald and his wife Linda are serving a mission at temple square in Salt Lake City. They are from South Caroline so when we heard they got called to Temple Square we were very excited. This is one of their uncles that the Brown Boys don't get to see very often. So it is nice to have him and his wife so close.

Here are the boys in front of the reflection pond just East of the temple.

Here is a picture of our new house. You can't see much of the house behind the trees. I'll have to take another picture this spring after we take the trees down. The big tree on the left is right in the way of accessing the left side of the house and that is where we have to park our camping trailer. The only pictures we have of the inside are the "before" pictures. Lance and I had new carpet and kitchen flooring put in. We put new paint in the family room downstairs and it looks like a brand new house. Lance actually has a list of projects that he works on every weekend. There are a few rooms not finished downstairs and so every weekend he is quite busy. We are loving living in a house that we can call our own. I'll post pictures soon of the "before" and "after".

Conner wanted to be right there helping with everything. He actually was a great help. Here are Lance and Conner pulling up the linolium (sp?) in the kitchen. We replaced it with laminate wood. It looks much, much better. When I get those pictures taken I'll add them.

Brayden and Conner decided they needed some exercise.

For Lance's birthday I had Conner and Brayden help me write on the cake. They did terrific.

Conner and Brayden had some friends over to make sugar cookies. They helped shape them and then decorate them. They had so much fun.

The finished product. Conner ended up not even liking the cookies with the sprinkles on them. His mom helped him eat the ones he didn't like.
